Ultra Magnetic Indicators have, in many instances, replaced standard warning lamps for visual indication of the position of remotely controlled valves, flaps, actuators, etc. Widely used for aeronautical and industrial application they are manufactured to stringent specifications, which ensure an extremely high level of reliability.

Designed for maximum versatility of display, the Ultra two-position Indicator is a two-terminal unit incorporating a solenoid actuated rolling ball, viewed through a domed window. Two display patterns are shown – one when the solenoid is energised and the other when de-energised. The 16mm diameter domed display area gives a wide viewing angle, and the many standard symbols, numerals, letters and colours available provide patterns suitable for most applications.

Single-hole fixing enables Indicators to be panel-mounted with a minimum of space between bezels. A shorter version of the Indicator, DN 1247.Z, with trailing leads in place of terminals – can be supplied for applications where space to the rear of the panel is restricted. Either type of Indicator is available with alternative window suitable for use with panels incorporating light plates.
