Description
The high performance lightweight Advanced Conduit System components offered by Ultra Electronics Electrics Division provides the very latest in technology for the protection of wiring harnesses against EMI and environmental contaminants. The system uses the unique Tinel Lock™ heat shrink metal ring, which replaces the traditional swaged sleeves used by other systems. The components use a modular construction approach that allows various combinations of design features to be ‘pick & mixed’ without encroaching upon lead times. The Tinel Lock™ system offers considerable savings in weight and an increase in reliability and screening effectiveness.
A key feature of the system is that, unlike swaged designs, it is re-enterable without causing damage or disruption to the harness.
