Description

The Commanders Control Panel (CCP) provides the primary functions for the commander on the Challenger II Main Battle Tank (MBT). Ergonomically designed using an aluminium casting the CCP interfaces directly with, amongst others the Gun Control, Commanders Primary Sight, Armament Selection and Thermal Imager Vehicle Sub Systems.

Four isolating mounts are blended into the CCP to provide a sway distance of 10mm all around.

The chassis is finished gloss white in accordance with DEF STAN 03-18. Fascia Black to BS5252 00E53.

Interconnections utilising connectors to BS5920 G0003 and BS5922 F0032.
